I am working on some new novel materials / coatings for products and am looking for an independent laboratory or other to conduct some repulpability studies. Understanding the ease of extracting fibers, % of contaminants, elimination of stickies, etc to be in line with industry standards.

In your work, have you come across or know whom I might search out who may be able to conduct this analysis?

Also, do you know if any labs in the US are testing for migration of saturated and aromatic mineral oils.

I’m sure there are others out there, but two that come to mind quickly are Toledo Forrest Products Laboratories, Inc. (419-297-8047) and Integrated Paper Services, Inc. (920-749-3040).

Integrated Paper Services should be able to do the migration analysis.
